meet The Fairfax VFW Auxiliary No. 8459 will meet
on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at 1:15 p.m. at the Fairfax Auditorium. There will be an installation of officers.
VFW Auxiliary No. 8459 Buddy Poppy Day The Fairfax VFW Auxiliary No. 8459 will be conducting
their Buddy Poppy Day on Friday, May 7, 2010. All donations go to help needy and disabled Veterans in the United States.
Fairfax Community Clean-Up Days to be conducted The Fairfax Community Clean Up Days will be conducted
this Friday & Saturday, May 7 & 8, 2010. Dumpsters will be provided in the alley behind Central Park on Friday from
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The site will be monitored and there will be no dumping of
paint, electronics, concrete, etc. If this project is abused, this service will not be offered again.
Fairfax C & C looking for Farmers Market participants The
Fairfax Civic & Commerce Association is looking for venders for the Farmers Market, which will be conducted
in the fall. The C&C would like everyone to keep this in mind when planting their gardens this Spring! Please call 507-426-8323
